What character would you like to play?

A role of violence: a violent husband or boyfriend because I’m a very cool person so I would love to do that. I would also love to play a very razz guy to the core.

What genre would you like to work in?

I would love to try comedy. Some people say I’m funny so I would love to try it. I think I’m quite fun around people I’m used to. I want to do an action CSI kind of film. I just want to do different types of roles to show versatility.

Any love interest?

My career is my love interest.

For now, I don't have a girlfriend.

I have come across a lot of girls in this short time, each one promising love and care, but I'm taking it slow to be sure I make the right decision.

WHEN DO YOU HOPE TO DO THAT?

You never know when it comes.

WHO IS YOUR IDEAL WOMAN?

I like to have a lady who have the fear of God, intelligent & beautiful.

CELEBRITY CRUSH?

Genevieve Nnaji

Strike: ASUU Yet To Fix Meeting To Consider Government’s Offer – Official

ASUU Strike: Lecturers meet Nigerian govt delegation

Striking Nigerian university teachers say they are still consulting ahead of meeting over the offer made to them by the Nigerian Government towards making them return to work.

President of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Biodun Ogunyemi, in a phone conversation with PREMIUM TIMES said the union was yet to call its national executive council meeting that will deliberate on the government’s offers.

The federal government tabled the offers to the lecturers during an extensive meeting between Thursday and Friday last week.

The team negotiating on behalf of the teachers rose from the meeting and asked to be given a week for the teachers to consider the offer.

“We are still consulting on the federal government offer and have no solid information as of now” Mr. Ogunyemi said.

The federal government delegation to last week’s meeting was led by Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige and Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu .

NG TUNES  had earlier reported the new offers by the federal government to the lecturers.

According to the report, the government through Mr. Ngige said it would make funds available in September and October to back earlier agreements and to show its good faith.

In respect of a 2009 MoU which non-implementation is at the core of the grievances of ASUU, Mr. Ngige said government proposed a seven-man committee with the union to work out a framework for the implementation.

Mr. Ngige further said payments of earned allowances of the teachers had started as at the time of the meeting, while a pathway was proposed for registration of a universities’ pension management company, another demand of the teachers.

The union declared the nationwide strike on August 13 to protest poor welfare of its members and underfunding of universities in Nigeria.

Billionaire kidnapper: He did not give us any money – Anglican Church denies Evans

The Bishop of Lagos West, Anglican Diocese, Rev. James Odedeji, on Friday, refuted claims by kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeje Onwuamadike, a.k.a. Evans, that he donated several times to the church.

Odedeji made the clarification while reacting to claims by Evans that he (Evans) had sponsored indigent students, given money to widows as well as donated to the renovation of the Anglican church building.

“We have verified it, and we are very certain that Evans is not a member of any elements of our church. We don’t know him and we have no affiliation with his person.

“All that he his saying about paying school fees for indigent students, helping widows and donating hugely to renovations of our church are pure lies. Please ignore the false information, it is only meant to mislead the public,” Odedeji said, speaking through Ven. Paul Adeyemi.

When asked if Evans had probably been one of the anonymous philanthropists in the church, Odedeji replied: “We know all our members, he is not one of us and he has never been part of us.”

The prophet also claimed to be God’s special adviser and that he meets with the Almighty on a regular basis to make decisions on how the world should be governed.

Top Zimbabwean newspaper, iHarare, reports that the controversial prophet also told his congregation that he was the number four person in heaven hierarchy after Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

He claimed to be the most righteous person in his country where, according to him, only 60 people will go to heaven.

Prophet Madungwe further told his members that he was with God recently where they had a very long discussion on what will happen to the world.

France breaks record, elects 233 women to Parliament

The French government on Sunday evening voted a record number of 233 women into parliament, after President Emmanuel Macron's decision to field a gender-balanced candidate list for his victorious Republic on the Move (LREM) party.

Of the 577 newly elected lawmakers, 233 were female, beating the previous record of 155 set after the last election.
The new record saw the French country leapfrogging from 64th to 17th in the world rankings of female parliamentary representation and to 6th place in Europe, overtaking Britain and Germany, according to Inter-parliamentary Union data compiled at the start of June.

The report also revealed that Female representation in the National Assembly has risen steadily, from 12.3 percent at the 2002 election to 38.6 percent this time.

LREM, which won an overwhelming majority in Sunday’s ballot, had the highest proportion of women elected, at 47 percent.

“For the first time under the (postwar) Fifth Republic, the National Assembly will be deeply renewed, more diverse, younger,” the party’s acting president, Catherine Barbaroux, said.

“But above all, allow me to rejoice, because this is a historic event for the representation of women in the National Assembly', she added.

Apostle Suleman Warns President Buhari As CRK Is Removed From The Secondary School Curriculum

President of the Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has expressed outrage at the removal of Christian Religious Knowledge (CRK) as a subject of study from the secondary school curriculum, describing it as a move by President Muhammadu Buhari to Islamise Nigeria.

Recall that the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) complained about the development during its meeting with Acting President Yemi Osinbajo at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The delegation led by its President, Rev Dr Samson Olasupo Ayokunle, also listed demands on the matter and other burning issues in a letter delivered to Osinbajo.

In a statement issued on Sunday by Phrank Shaibu, spokesman of the church, Apostle Suleman, stated that the decision to scrap CRK as a subject in the curriculum but only to be studied as a theme in civic education while leaving Islamic/Arabic studies as a subject to be studied in the secondary school curriculum, is a deliberate plot by the Buhari administration, among other schemes, eliminate Christianity or at best reduce it to insignificance in Nigeria.

“The new curriculum which is the brain-child of the Nigerian Educational Research Council and which is mischievously crafted to force Islamic Studies down the throat of non adherents is unjust, discriminatory, a subtle attempt at islamization, and therefore unacceptable,” the statement said.

“This is a well orchestrated and articulated plot. Let nobody try to fool Nigerians that it was a mistake or a coincidence. Why is it that CRK would be removed as a subject to be studied from the secondary school school curriculum while Islamic/Arabic studies is retained? This is a plan from hell and it shall not stand”, he declared.

Apostle Suleman also noted that the policy has been introduced at a time when Fulani herdsmen are on rampage in parts of the country and just before so called Arewa youths gave Igbo people living in the North to quit before October 1.

“Over 7000 people have been killed by these Fulani herdsmen with our security forces unable to stop the bloodshed. So called Arewa youths backed by some discredited elders have also issued a treasonable ultimatum to Igbo people without any reprisals from the Buhari government. So, is it a coincidence that Christian Religious Knowledge has been expunged from the school curriculum?” he queried.

Apostle Suleman called on the Federal Government to reverse the “offensive” policy and immediately restore Christian Religious Knowledge to the curriculum while commending the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) for being at the forefront of seeking to redress the anomaly.

“This evil policy must be reversed immediately. What is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. Christain Religious Knowledge (CRK) must be restored to the school curriculum. And I’m happy that the CAN has taken up the battle to ensure that those who seek to banish our faith do not succeed. We will continue to speak out until satan and his agents are put to shame”, he declared.

Similarly, he called on the government to stem the tide of consistent attacks by Fulani herdsmen as well as deal with those giving ultimatum to people from an ethnic group to vacate the north.

“For long, Fulani herdsmen continue to kill, rape and burn people’s homes without restraint. In the event that the safety of an ethnic group cannot be guaranteed in any part of the country, then Nigerians should know that it is not a coincidence. And my God shall not fold arms while the devil and his children seek to destroy the destiny of Nigeria”, he declared.

“We have the strength of character, the courage and the conviction to mount a sustained campaign in defence of justice, and in defence of our religion. We will not give up our religious practice because of someone else’. Nigeria belongs to us all and not for a few bigots who currently occupy positions of authority,” the cleric added.
