The executive Governor of Delta State, Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan has
been named the 2014 Man of the year by the Silverbird group .
At an exclusive event held at Eko Hotels, Lagos, the Delta state
Governor, emerged victorious as he was presented with the prestigious
award by the Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose.
In his acceptance speech, Uduaghan specially thank the Silverbird
group for the honour. He also explained the reason why he withdrew
from his senatorial ambition in the 2015 general election saying he
wanted peace to reign in Delta State.
He dedicated the award to the ‘Peaceful’ co-existence of all the ethnic
