The current scarcity of petroleum products is affecting more and more
corporate bodies. The likes of MTN, City FM, Beat FM had all
announced plans to shutdown due to the shortage.
Now, GTbank has issued a statement stating plans to shutdown all
branches from 1pm today, Monday, May 25, 2015 if fuel shortage
continues while stating that all other alternative channels will remain
fully functional.
Airtel also stated that ‘if the situation persists, it may have adverse
effects on our network, impacting both voice and data services.’
